About Pasman
The island of Pašman is the part of Zadar archipelago; Pašman is connected via bridge with the island of Ugljen and it has good ferry connection with Biograd and Zadar.
Land area of Pašman is 63 km2 and the population is about 3100. The island of Pašman has one special feature – the sea current around the island changes every six hours thus the sea around Pašman is one of the cleanest in all Adriatic! Various medical and aromatic plants can be found on the island as well as vineyards, olive grooves and breathtaking sand and pebble beaches.
Small villages of Tikon, Ždrelac, Kraj and Mrljane are spread throughout the island of Pašman and the local people earn their living via traditional activities like agriculture; however, tourism is also becoming very popular thus the island offers many holiday houses, pensions, camps, lovely taverns and excellent restaurants.
The island of Pašman, like most island of Croatia, has a mild Mediterranean climate thus Pašman has plenty of sun, almost no rain and a pleasant temperature throughout the year.
