The Benedictine Monastery of St. Cosmas and Damien
The monastery is located on the Cokavac hill near the Tkon village and it dates from the 12th century. It was built on the remains of an old Christian church and this monastery was a well known Glagolitic center. During the 14th century the monastery was redecorated in the spirit of the Gothic period thus a beautiful Gothic crucifixion from the 15th century can still be seen today.

St. Duje monastery is located in the village of Kraj and it dates from 1390. Special feature of this monastery is a Renaissance cloister, dining room and a museum. The monastery prides itself with the beautiful painting of Madonna with the baby Jesus.
